The Company was constituted in 02/01/1988, when two Engineers of the DER/SC had perceived the road inexistence in the State of Santa Catarina of manufacturers of thumbtacks and great thumbtack what he at the time made impracticable the installation of same in the Catarinenses Highways due to its the high cost and the difficulty of supply the short space of time.

In top of these facts, they had left for the research and, with much perseverance despite the enormous financial difficulties and of material of research, they had obtained in February of 1988, the approval on the part of 16º Road District of the DNER of a lot of parts that had been applied in BR 101.

Working with tenacity and without measuring efforts, these two Engineers had finished carrying through a dream: entrepreneur becomes, developing and producing parts quality techniques.

With the fixed idea to develop new products with proper technology and the admission of plus a partner, also engineer, in 1989, the ALERT one obtained to break the monopoly until then existing, of the manufacture of the catadiótico reflective element, that nothing more is that the part that provides backward the reflection of the thumbtacks finishing in this way with the abusive prices the one that if subjected all the Brazilian Companies of road signalling.

Today, despite the diverse products of road signs produced by the Company, it continues developing research with new materials and new technologies, including in different areas of road signs.

The market's main Alert is composed of companies from road signs, civil construction, public agencies and business premises of some of Brazil and Latin America.
